Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME)-Technology Development Centre –Centre Development of glass industry (CDGI) has been set up a joint venture project of Government of India, United Nations Development Program (UNDP) United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and Government of Uttar Pradesh as a registered society on May 6, 1992 at Firozabad (U.P). Functioning of the Centre is looked after by its Governing Council constituted by Government under the Rules of the Society.

CDGIfocuses on providing Developmental and Technological Support services to the small scale industries. Its plans and policies are guided by Ministry of MSME, Government of India.


MSME TDC PPDC (Process & Product Development Centre) was set up in 1985 as process and product development centre(ppdc) at agra, as government body for the technological upgradation of micro, small medium industries across the country.

PPDC was later made into an autonomous body from 1986. In 2014 PPDC, agra was renamed as MSME-TDC- PPDC.

MSME-TDC- PPDC is a part of the ministry of msme, with location in agra, UP and Coimbatore Tamilnadu. As an autonomous body MSME-TDC- PPDC is managed by a governing council under the chairman of AS & DC (SSI).

MSME-TDC- PPDC is always looking for new and innovative models to help the MSMEs across the country. These innovative models include partnership with International associations like European Unioin(EU) & Foundation of MSME cluster, New Delhi, In 2014, MSME-TDC- PPDC has signed partnership agreement with Madison street capital, India to provide corporate financial advisory services.
